  Juan Carlos Gayoso was born on August 7, 1952 in Montevideo Uruguay. He began a self-taught at an early age. Going through and perfecting the various branches of plastic.

Even made metal sculpture, later defined his own style taking the Venezuelan landscape grounds which plasma through oils, watercolor and mixed media, performing and high coloring of the same; Following his work we see a natural setting realistic, which assumes a particular polychrome   to raise its essence.

After   of numerous international solo and group exhibitions, private collections, he settled in Venezuela attracted by the magnificent tropical light, shaping oil, watercolor, pen,   of its landscapes, roads and marine.

For several years he was devoted to complementary education, creating new values plastics.

He participated as a selection jury and qualifier of the halls EDELCA Art (1989 - 1993).

Participation in the International Biennial of Contemporary Art     University of Chapingo - Mexico / 7/11/2008.
